Simon Linakane is a qualified registered quantity surveyor with 10 years’ work experience in the industry. He acquired his Quantity Surveying Bachelor of Science Honors at the University of the Free State. Simon is a registered quantity surveyor under the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and a professional member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors.
With 10 years of experience, Simon has gained valuable experience working for leading quantity surveying and construction firms including Murray and Roberts. Working for Murray and Roberts, Simon gained unprecedented experience working in flagship projects such as the Gautrain Rapid Rail Transport System, the first of its kind in Africa. Simon offers clients an excellent personal service and he strives to deliver projects within budget.
Tjako Majara is a registered professional quantity surveyor and holds a Bachelor of Science Honors in Quantity Surveying from the University of Cape Town. He started his career as a Junior Quantity Surveyor with Lethola Cost Associates in 2006 where he spent the first two years of his career.
Prior to joining Kiwango, he was appointed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Office Manager at LDM Quantity Surveyors at the Johannesburg office. Working for LDM, he has gained valuable experience across the entire spectrum of the quantity surveying profession, project management and property markets. He is an enthusiastic team player with sound business knowledge and skills.
Tsepiso Mote is a candidate quantity surveyor with 13 years of experience in the building industry. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Technology in Quantity Surveying (B Tech QS) from Peninsula Technikon now known as the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town.
His career started when he joined De Leeuw Quantity Surveyors Cape Town (DLCT) in 2004. During his tenure at DLCT, his involvement in day-to-day managing and administration of projects, gave him valuable experience in enhancing his career to independently and successfully manage projects. In 2008, he was appointed as a senior quantity surveyor at LDM Quantity Surveyors at the Johannesburg office. Given his prior experience and knowledge, he represented LDM in the successful completion of the first greenstar rated building in South Africa. During his stay at LDM, he further gained valuable experience in Project Management. His strong technical ability, dedication and impetus make him a valuable key member of Kiwango QS.
